My Dogeared Necklace Finally!

So I've been wanting one of these Dogeared necklaces for the longest time because I just love the whole thought behind them!  So they were on crazy clearance at Swirl a couple weeks ago and of course I had to get one!  I had a $20.00 off coupon so my total with shipping turned out to be $18.48!  I was so pleased with my purchase!   Well I finally got it in the mail and can't wait!  You put the necklace on and make a wish.  Then when the necklace wears off or breaks off (it is a thin red thread) your wish is ready to come true!  I just like anything like that...especially wishbones or horseshoes!  Maybe I'm superstitious...I'm not sure!  I think so!  But I just had to share because I was so excited!  I got two because one is for me and then the other is for someone else I'm going to mail it to!  She needs some good luck!  I would definitely tell you to take a look at the website and possibly order something because they are just great!

So this was my first time using Panty By Post and while I enjoyed it I was expecting to get the really cute frilly ones!  Like the ones that you see in the gallery on their website.  Instead I got the three pairs seen above.  They are really comfy and made of quality materials, but not as cute as I was expecting.  So of course I inquired because I really wanted the cute frilly ones, and it turns out that you have to make a special note if you want those ones.  Otherwise you will be sent random ones that are not in the gallery!  So that is for anyone who is considering making a purchase and wants the cute ones as well!  It was still a great experience and the underwear are fabulous and the customer service is great!  I would definitely recommend it to anyone!  Just make sure you ask for frilly ones or name them specifically!  But I just wanted to share my experience!  I will definitely order again...but with a desire for the cuter ones!

Mmmmm....so the other day...well Sunday...this past Sunday I went to The Great Bridal Expo in Philadelphia with two friends.  No...I'm not getting married but I got free tickets and thought that it would be interesting to go!  So...I did!  I am one of those girls who has been buying wedding magazines for years....not because she is planning her own wedding, but rather because I enjoy looking to see what other people did for their weddings and how beautiful it turned out and what the endless possibilities are!  I just love it!  So I went to this expo and it was not anything that I was expecting!  I was rather disappointed to be honest with you!  One of the only reasons I really wanted to go was because Philly Cupcake was supposed to be there!  And sad to say...but they weren't!  I was so disappointed!  There was supposed to be cake testing and flowers and a whole bunch of other fun stuff...but instead there were only passion party tables and one or two dress places and the rest were resorts!  But anyway...I got my free bridal magazines and then we left.  We ended up going to Philly Cupcake because we had to get that in!  I had a Peanut Butter and Jelly Cupcake with  Peanut Butter Buttercream icing!  So good!  The peanut butter cupcake was stuffed with strawberry jam!  So amazing!  My friend Dani had a Red Velvet and my other friend Allison had a Peanut Butter Massacre!  Turns out Philly Cupcake is going to be in Cupcake Wars!  One of my favorite shows!  I'm so lame I know...but I enjoy it!  So that was pretty exciting!  Afterward we went to The Reading Terminal Markets and ate at Profi's Creperie!  I had a turkey bacon, mozzarella cheese and egg crepe while Dani had a BLT crepe and Allison had a pizza crepe!  So amazing!  But that was our adventure for the day and it turned out pretty well I must say!

Serendipity!

I had to post this! These are pictures from this adorable little restaurant I went to in Delaware! It is right on the Indian River Bay, and has the cutest, most welcoming atmosphere ever! It was seriously a pleasure dining there! It is right along the water and you can dine inside or outside. If you chose to dine outside, it is on a deck overlooking the water! You can even ride your jet-ski and dock it and then grab something to eat! It was quite the experience that I had to share!

Panty By Post

So I recently came across the cutest idea. I found out about Panty By Post from DailyCandy, a daily email that I receive that lets me know all about the latest fashion, sales and happenings throughout different areas. I love getting those emails, but I do fall behind on them at times because they send anywhere from 5 to 10 a day! But none the less...you find out about the most amazing things! Panty By Post is based in Canada and you can order anywhere from 2 to 12 pairs...even more if you would like to and then you receive one a month for however many months you ordered! The packaging is all cute and it is another great way to receive cute mail! The underwear are from Blush, a lingerie company and they are adorable! There are cute and frilly ones and then also sexy, seductive ones! The fabric is a synthetic mix and the trimmings are usually lace or ribbon! I love the idea personally! So I am placing an order this week! One for me and another for my sister for her birthday! I will let you know how it turns out!! I am super excited!

Me! The Morning of Graduation!

So Wow! I haven't blogged in FOREVER but it feels so good to be back! So much has happened since the last time and there is much to catch up on! But first....I GRADUATED COLLEGE!!!! Yes, that is right...all of that hard work and determination has finally paid off and I am now officially a Graduate Nurse! I took my boards, the NCLEX on July 22nd and PASSED!!! It was such a relief! It was so a great feeling knowing that all of my studying paid off! So I am officially a Registered Nurse! I even got my license in the mail! Wow! But as for the job....no such luck. I have been applying everywhere, but nothing. It is hard to find a job because with the economy hospitals want nurses with experience, however, being that I just graduated, I don't have experience and can't obtain experience until someone hires me!! It is crazy really to think about it. But as for now I am just working at the bank and making do. Trying to make the most of my time and everything. But boy would I really love to get a real job as a Nurse! The very thought gets me excited and my mind starts wandering to the endless possibilities. I'm just filled with so much excitement right now I can't even begin to explain it! But that is it for now! I will definitely be updating on everything, but just wanted to give a quick post!
